The blogger left uninspired......

New York Fashion Week left me uninspired. I will always be honest with my readers, the shows were a complete disappointment. Military has been done already, as well as black and white as well as sportswear inspired clothing. I am inspired though by the fashion bible itself VOGUE. Which I will be pulling inspiration from as well as inspiration I have within myself about 60s fashion. Look forward to the next blog post. It will be promising.

A Fashionista's Dream Come True

June.14.2014 The Date had been set. I was aware of this vision I had in my head, the execution had begun.  First, dress shopping. My one and only stop was Valentina Bridal in Staten Island New York. The staff was amazing and believe it or not the second dress I tried on was the dress. I then headed to Bridal Styles Boutique an amazing store where headpieces appeared as art work to my doe eyes. A custom made headpiece of exactly what I wanted was created as well as a beautiful lace cathedral veil. Traditional was very important to me. Timeless and classic was the look I was going for. EXCEPT for my headpiece, as I do in my everyday life. I wanted the headpiece to be a statement piece. Finally the day had come and I was headed to Da Noi On Fifth where my hair and vision had finally come together. I met my groom at the alter as he whispered you look absolutely stunning. Words every woman hears everyday but felt that more special on that day. OUR DAY !
